TPC Director NOMINEES & Bios

Lynn Corrigan

​I have been a resident of Thornbury/Clarksburg for over 25 years. I along with my late husband John, have been involved in many community activities. After the loss of John in December the Thornbury PICKLEBALL CLUB WAS A PLACE I FOUND COMFORT from the wonderful people. I would like to give back as a 
director to ensure the atmosphere that we now have to welcoming new members of all skill levels.

Paul Clements

I have been a resident of Thornbury since 2015 and joined the Thornbury Pickleball Club the same year. I have been on the TPC executive for the past six years. My main objectives are to improve the quality of play, provide opportunities to play and continue having the Club being an important part of the community.

Pam Copeland

After moving to Thornbury in 2016 my husband John and I were introduced to Pickle Ball at the Thornbury club. Joining the club has been a great way to meet and befriend many wonderful people. I have been a member of the TPC Board for the past 3 years including the period when we navigated through the challenges of Covid 19. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the development of the club now that things have opened up again.

Jean Grummett

I have lived in this beautiful area all of my life, with pickleball becoming a real  passion of mine in 2014. I love the action and the challenge of playing the game with so many fun-loving 'pickleballers', as well as enjoying the many benefits it provides. I started volunteering with our club through the winter of 2014-15 and I am currently helping with the Interim Program, the TPC website and a Facebook page where I like to post skills, strategies and tournaments, with top players from around North America.  I also enjoy working with technology, even with the challenges it presents, and use it to eliminate some of the tedious tasks required in running a club.   I promise that my every action will be a benefit to our club so that it can keep growing and moving ahead with additional courts to accommodate the growing number of players in our community.

I have been a member of the Thornbury Pickleball Club executive since before 
the Covid shutdown and have witnessed a group of extremely hard-working
and dedicated volunteers navigate through it . 
They are always coming up with new ideas to keep our group safe and
still welcoming new members .

Hours have been spent setting up the EZin software that we all use to 
sign in , coming up with new schedules trying to keep everyone 
excited to play the game and socials so we all get to know  each other.

It has been my pleasure to be a very small part of this very talented bunch 
and would like to continue on !
