Code of Conduct and Waiver
(as adopted by TPC 2023-4)
PURPOSE:
The TPC is committed to providing a sporting environment that reflects the Club’s core values of respect, fairness, integrity, honesty, transparency and safety.
As a member of the TPC, all players agree to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner both on the courts and when observing others playing while awaiting their turn. All participants are reminded the goal is to provide an environment where all players can play the game to the best of their ability and most importantly “have fun” while doing so. This Code is to apply to any TPC organized or sponsored pickleball event. We ask that you please respect the facility, staff, equipment, and other players. We also ask that you respect the time periods, the number of courts allotted to play and that you rotate on and off the courts fairly and courteously.
The Code below applies in all situations that relate directly or indirectly to pickleball play. Every person involved in pickleball at TPC (participant, official, volunteer, or spectator) pledges as follows:
If we work together TPC will continue to be a safe, fun place for participants to play. Failure to abide by this Code may result in disciplinary action having to be taken. For this purpose the Complaints, Harassment and Disciplinary procedures outlined by Pickleball Ontario will be used for guidance.
