The Thornbury Pickleball Club Guest Policy

The Thornbury Pickleball Club (TPC) organizes play at the Beaver Valley Community Centre (BVCC) exclusively for Club members. The yearly membership application ($125) and waiver runs from July 1 to June 30. New members, who have not played racquet sports prior to joining our club, are encouraged to take introductory lessons from Mark Renneson at Third Shot Sports before joining.
GUESTS
A guest is a player who is a temporary visitor and is an acquaintance, friend or family of a member. Guests, who are accompanied by a member and know how to play pickleball, are welcome to join us at the courts. They must sign a waiver, pay $5.00 fee/day, before joining in the play. The member would partner with their guest to help familiarize them with the routines and procedures of our club. However, if there are 10 members already waiting to play and the courts are full, then the guest would not be able to join in the play at that time. Guests must sign in on the registry sheet in the TPC binder each time they play and indicate the date of their visit on the back of the waiver form sheet also kept in the red binder. Guests are the responsibility of the member. Guests under the age of 18, must have the member or guardian sign the waiver on behalf of the guest. You are allowed to visit and play 8 times per membership year.
